Based on impending poverty and boredom I have decided to give up on summer classes or moving out early. My parents did agree to help me out with the whole not enough money to eat thing, but I think I'd rather keep what I have now/spend it on a lavish summer and just get a part time job for the summer and have a grand old time. If I'm really so keen on learning I have a whole bookcase of literature which I have mostly not read.
This week I'm volunteering at my old highschool to help out with the running of the Northwest Regional Sears Drama Festival. It's the second level of competition, so it's kind of a big deal and it is a lot of fun so I wanted to offer a bit of help. I went in on Thursday to see what they wanted me to do and I got dragged in hardcore. Seems that they were really behind and still hadn't even planned much of the festival which starts Monday. I originally had thought I would just show up each evening and help out a little and watch all the plays, but now I have the title "Assistant Festival Coordinator" and I was there all day friday, all day yesterday and I will be there all day everyday next week, taking time off only to attend two of my classes. I don't really mind doing the work, it is the most interesting thing I've done in a long time, it just feels like it came out of nowhere. I think it will be fun, that is if I don't fall apart from exhaustion.

aww! you get to help with sears! that sounds like so much fun! I miss the drama festival, it was always the best week or two of the school year
