I like it to be noted that I ate the Pocky I got in my Christmas stocking from Siobhan for breakfast at 12:30 pm Monday, February 9, 2009.
My life is a shambles.
On the bright side (literally), it is gloriously sunny and my window is open. I think it might be spring already.

definitely starting to smell like spring, but I think its all a tease.
60 Minutes had a piece on the "Buy American" steel thing, and they put into coherent speech what I was unable to because I was so pissy. I apologize.
The U.S. will buy steel for its infrastructure "stimulus" projects from U.S. producers AND any trade partners who have acted according to the trade agreements already made -- Canada and Europe.
They will NOT buy from China and Russia, who have routinely flaunted international trade laws.
THAT'S really all I wanted -- a restoration of fairness.
Bush didn't merely disdain and mistreat OTHER countries; he disdained and mistreated the majority of Americans, too. The depth and breadth of how he's damaged our country on basically every level is astounding, and failing to stand up to China in the area of trade is one of them.
