Cough.

I'm sick so over the last two days I've sat around doing even less than usual. A minute ago I was looking for something on TV to entertain me. I caught a bit of Wheel of Fortune and was quickly reminded why I don't watch the show: the contestants are idiots.

This is what was on the board. The category was "Phrase".

It took them about four or five random guesses to get the needed 'O' and about the same to figure out the 'F'. Guesses included 'M', 'P' and 'T'. One contestant, after correctly guessing the 'O' tried to solve the puzzle as "Sail out into the sunset." Sure it is a phrase, but not a well known and commonly used one. Most importantly though, both 'U' and 'T' were already on the board.

The audience was audibly astounded at the stupidity and it was fairly obvious that Pat Sajak was doing everything he could to prevent himself from slapping all three of them. Vanna White looked no different than usual. I don't think she is able to change her facial expression.
