This week's item:
One Panasonic portable CD player (of the mid-nineties variety). This gem was purchased sometime about ten years ago for about $300 with lots of saved up Christmas, birthday and found inside the couch cash (remember, 10 years ago I was unemployed, mostly because I was 11).
It's features include:
- An extra bass feature
- Normal, repeat and random modes
- 2 rechargeable AA batteries (that I lost in 1998)
- Very compact size (equal to about four iPod Minis)
-A whopping three second anti-skip protection, almost enough to safely go for a walk.
Now for the good stuff. What should I do with this wonderful piece of electronics? Comment to vote.
a) Throw it in the garbage without a second thought
b) SMASH IT AND PLAY WITH ALL THE FUN BITS INSIDE!... I mean... reverse engineer it...
c) Drop it off at the salvation army
d) SMASH IT!
Keep on Tranglin,
Anthony

hey i have one of those too! cost me a damn fortune at the time, and it's slightly more convenient than carrying a boombox on your shoulder.

my word verification is: zshitu.
Donate!!!
Ok, that's two for donate, and five for SMASH!
I've a big fan of reverse engineering, aka dropping it off a roof...
Use a low grade explosive.
He's right. My bad. I was too busy thinking of the inherent danger to your limbs, but, yeah fuck that.
Boots McWhatever is right on the nose. I think perhaps mercury switches are in order.
I was acutally planning to use a high-grade hammer.
Not an altruistic one among you. I'm so ashamed.
Take it apart, and make jewelry with the bits inside. Or blow it up, and make mosaics with the shards.
Then, sell your art or jewelry, and donate the money to the poor.
Yeah, that'll affirm his manliness.
Ubie so I can take you order for $50 worth of jewelry now?
