...But only for a couple weeks every four years.
Portugal just beat England at the World Cup. Any moment know, half of Cambridge's 30 000 Portuguese people (the males) are going to get into their cars, drive around aimlessly, scream "Forca Portugal" and honk their horns. Oh, the honking! It will go on for hours. They will jam up intersections, cause traffic jams and get into fights. They will wear their port red shirts, and they will wave their banners and hold up those stupid little soccer scarf things. And because that isn't enough, with the pride of hundreds of years of Portuguese heritage and the audacity of Vasco Da Gama they will wave the red, green and yellow of the flag of the Portuguese Republic, today, on CANADA DAY.
How could I have possibly come from these people?
Keep on Tranglin,
Anthony

FORCA PORTUGAL!
soccer makes everyone a little crazy. kinda like hockey, except with more riots.
and less canadians.
FORCA FORCA FORCA!!
I have no idea what that means but I love it.
FORCA!
Now we can only hope that there's some sort of disaster during the France/Potugal match that completely incapacitates both teams.
a riot would do that. although that usually happens after the game. I'm sure if you wish relly hard all your riots will come true.
i hate portugal. i plan to sink it.
A noble goal.
won't they all just swim to shore and eventually terrorize us once again?
like little olive skinned piranahs with lungs.
...or sailing their peirogis
I was so happy that I wasn't in Cambridge yesterday after Portugual won... I remember how loud it was when they got into the quarter finals... sucks to be those in Cambridge!!
